How far can a software engineer
automate software engineering?

An evidence-backed experiment on a side project with more than 500 users. I push until the system, the evidence, or my nerve says stop. I would not use the same autonomy in my primary job without its security, review, ownership, and incident boundaries.

I stopped writing the code. I did not stop being the engineer.

I ship more by typing almost none of it. The workflow, honestly: delegate the building, keep the deciding and the verifying, and treat every “done” as a claim until it is proven.
